Good news for Matt Damon fans out there. We now have more reasons to celebrate as Jason Bourne will be coming back.
Matt Damon is set to play rogue CIA operative Jason Bourne for a fourth time and this is according to a media source.
The Hollywood Hunk will reportedly reunite with director Paul Greengrass for another installment in the massively successful action franchise.
Since 2007’s “The Bourne Ultimatum,” the actor and director have said they did not want to make a fourth film, but the pair has reportedly changed their minds and it’s being discussed currently.
Universal has plans to release the Justin Lin-directed sequel to “The Bourne Legacy” with Jeremy Renner on July 16, 2016. It is not known if the Damon/Greengrass film will now take that slot.
“The Bourne Identity,” “The Bourne Supremacy” and “The Bourne Ultimatum,” started in 2002 and culminated in 2007, earned nearly $1 billion across the world.
