TV’s ‘Queen of Travel’ Susan Calo-Medina Dies – NCCA

She may no longer be around but she will always be remembered for this line.

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts announced on Friday the passing of TV host Susan Calo-Medina.
“Our most sincere condolences to the family of Travel Time host Ms. Susan Calo Medina who passed away today,” NCCA said in its Facebook account.

Wake is at the Sanctuario de San Antonio, Forbes Park, Makati City.

Medina hosted the longest-running and award-winning travel show in the Philippines, “Travel Time.” She hosted the travel show since 1986, earning her the title “TV’s Queen of Travel.”

She also hosted the cultural TV show “Tipong Pinoy” with singer Wency Cornejo on GMA Network.

Medina was also a former member of the NCCA’s National Committee on Communication.
