Twelve years after they officially disbanded, the greatest Pinoy rock and roll band, Eraserheads, are back to invade the music world again with their two brand new songs.
The group – composed of Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala and Marcus Adoro reunited for the September travel issue of Esquire Philippines magazine which includes the two new singles, “Sabado” and “1995”.
“Sabado” was co-written by Buddy, Marcus, Raymound and Romulo while “1995′ was penned by Ely and Romulo. Hearing them sing again is very nostalgic. It surely brings back good old high school and college days memories.
Esquire celebrated the launch of the magazine’s September issue with an event on Thursday at Makati Shangri-La. Eraserheads surprised the audience with an unplanned set featuring some of their hits. An ultimate throwback.
The first batch of Esquire Philippines featuring the band’s first new songs in over a decade were also sold out on Thursday.
