Broadway star Lea Salonga took to Twitter to express her admiration to The Voice Kids runner up Darren Espanto after watching his duet performance with Sarah Geronimo at the Globe App Night 2014.
Salonga posted her tweet: “An awesome Bang Bang by @JustSarahG and #DarrenEspanto. Dare I say it, he should’ve won The Voice Kids. Haaaaay…”
Some netizens expressed their concern for The Voice Kids Grand Winner Lyca Gairanod saying that she might get hurt with Salonga’s tweet to which she replied:
“It’s not that she [Lyca] isn’t good. She is naman. But he [Darren] just continues to impress me as a singer and as a human being.”
