FULL LIST: 31st PMPC Star Awards for Movies

The winners of the 31st Philippine Movie Press Club Star Awards for movies has been named on Sunday night, March 8 at The Theater in Solaire Resort & Casino, Parañaque City.

“Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo” came out as big winners bagging some of the major awards including Movie Director of the Year, Movie of the Year, and technical awards such as editing, production design, musical score, original theme song and sound engineer.

Kapamilya actors John Lloyd Cruz and Piolo Pascual tied for the best actor award for their performance in ‘The Trial’ and “Starting Over Again’ respectively.

Veteran actress Nora Aunor won best actress for the horror flick “Dementia.”

Bimby Aquino-Yap and Miggs Cuaderno were named Best Child Performer.

Kim Chui, Iza Calsado, Xian Lim and Pops Fernandez hosted this year’s PMPC Awards night. ‘The Voice PH’ co-host Robi Domingo served as segment host. It featured performances from Jay R, Kyla, and the top 4 of The Voice of the Philippines.

The 31st PMPC Star Awards will be telecast on on Sunday, March 22, 2015 on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best.
