Mayad Studios released the “royal wedding” video of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera on New Year’s Eve.
The couple of over five years tied the knot in a ceremony widely publicized last December 30 at the Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral in Quezon City and became a worldwide trending topic on social media.
Parts of Dantes and Rivera’s vows are heard as key moments from the ceremony are shown in the nearly six-minute video, including the actress’ walk to the altar, their first kiss as a married couple, their exit from the church and the reception that followed at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
“In this new lifetime that we will have, I now can see clearly the ending that I’ve always imagined,” Dantes is heard saying. “What matters most is the journey on how to get there. For as long as I’m with you, it does not matter where. I can jump off any cliff, not matter how high, as long as I know you are there, holding my hand.”
Dantes vowed: “Above all the things that mean the world to me, I give you one thing no other can — my life. Marian, while only death can do us part, I pray to the very God that put us together that you and I should never part, in this lifetime or the next.”
