The first movie team-up of Coco Martin and Toni Gonzaga earned atleast P25 million on its opening day on Black Saturday.
The figure was revealed by Kris Aquino on “The Buzz” on Sunday, where Gonzaga is also one of the show’s co-hosts.
According to Gonzaga, she is extremely grateful to those who already watched “You’re My Boss” even if it was released in cinemas at the same time as the Hollywood blockbuster “Fast and Furious 7.”
The film, which was produced by Star Cinema, follows the love story of a conceited boss and her assistant who end up switching roles.
It is directed by Antoinette Jadaone, who is best known for the blockbuster hit “That Thing Called Tadhana” and “Beauty in a Bottle.”
