Smartphone brand Xiaomi is currently being recognized as one of the world’s biggest mobile brand companies despite not being officially available in the United States. But it looks like the smartphone giant based in China is eyeing to finally enter the American market.
Xiaomi plans to start entering the U.S. market by the end of 2018 or by early 2019 according to Chinese mobile firm executive during the China’s annual legislative session in Beijing.
Xiaomi faces serious challenges when it enters the U.S. market according to report. The mobile brand Xiaomi is set to compete against Apple and Samsung and it will have to form partnership with local telcos.
Xiaomi is also rumored to be organizing a HongKong IP later in 2018 and hopefully to raise roughly USD10 billion to fund its expansion plans.
