WATCH: The Voice 2014 Top 8 – Matt McAndrew Sings “The Blower’s Daughter”

Matt McAndrew sings an emotional rendition on Damien Rice’s “The Blower’s Daughter.”

Matt is the most consistent of the singers. Consistently great. I preferred him behind his guitar rather than running around high fiving the audience.

Admittedly, only a few singers on The Voice have sung a song that touched me so emotionally, but this performance, especially Matt’s beautiful vocals gave me chills starting in the first verse. I thought Damien’s original was great, but Matt made it even more beautiful. By far, his best performance. Actually, the best performance of the season. His performance was both fantastic and stunning. His artistry amazes me.
