[WATCH] Starbucks Releases First LGBT Commercial

Starbucks released their first LGBT commercial featuring Drag Race season six winner Bianca Del Rio and season six runner-up Adore Delano.

The coffee chain partnered with OUTtv, a television network with LGBT programming, to make the commercial. The ad features Bianca and Adore as “coffee frenemies”.

It started with Adore talking to someone on the phone about her busy work schedule. When Adore spots a nearby Starbucks store, she heads inside and asks several customers waiting in line if she can cut. The first two that were asked said yes. However, when it was time to ask Bianca, Bianca gives Adore the hand and started ranting.

The Starbucks employee interrupted them and saved their friendship by holding up a drink for each of them.

The ad ends with the words, “Saving friendships since 1971.”
