Valerie Weigmann, the Philippines’ representative in Miss World 2014 pageant, shared a glimpse of tourist attractions in the country and shares her advocacy in her official introduction video as one of the 123 candidates of the pageant.
Miss World’s official YouTube account shared the nearly two-minute video of the 24-year-old Weigmann where she identified the rights of indigenous groups in the Philippines as one of her advocacies. It also showed her numerous achievements among them being a photographer, an entrepreneur, a professional model and a TV host.
The half-German beauty is hoping to clinch the Miss World crown for the Philippines for the second year in a row and match the achievement of actress Miss World 2013 Megan Young.
The finals night of Miss World 2014 will be held on December 14 at ExCel London in the United Kingdom.
