Asia’s Phoenix Morissette Amon has finally released the official music video of her rendition of “Shine.”

The music video was uploaded on her YouTube channel on May 30, 2021 in celebration of the song’s silver anniversary this year.

“Shine” was composed by multi-awarded songwriter Trina Belamide and was originally sang by Ima Castro. It was performed live by Sweet Plantado during the 1996 Metropop Song Festival held at the Araneta Coliseum where it won second place. The song became more famous when Regine Velasquez recorded the song for a product commercial until it became part of her concert performances.

Morissette’s version was arranged by ABS-CBN Music creative director and OPM hitmaker Jonathan Manalo and Filipino-American musical director Troy Laureta.
