WATCH: Jessica Sanchez Sings Celine Dion’s ‘The Prayer’ at ‘American Idol’ finale

Jessica Sanchez returned on American Idol stage as the long-running talent search contest aired its final season.

Jessica, who placed second in the 11th season of the singing competition, ended a medley of songs performed by fellow alums Katherine McPhee, Casey James, Carly Smithson, Clay Aiken, Amber Holcomb and Ruben Studdard with her cover of Celine Dions’s “The Prayer”.

American Idol first aired in 2002 with Cowell, choreographer Paula Abdul and music producer Randy Jackson as the original set of judges.
