WATCH: David Foster Introduces Charice as “Pride of Asia” on Asia’s Got Talent

International singing sensation Charice and Canadian composer and music producer David Foster shared the stage once again for the first time in over three years as they perform for the grand finals episode of “Asia’s Got Talent.”

Aired on May 14, Foster, who sits as judge on the show, introduced Charice as a “pride of Asia” with a video showing highlights of her career under Foster’s mentorship. Foster took Charice under his wing and has done both local and international shows with her upon the endorsement of billionaire TV producer Oprah Winfrey.

“She has always had a place in my heart; she will always have a place in my heart,” said Foster before they performed Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down”.
