I was browsing some Eraserheads videos on YouTube when I chanced upon this new Coca-Cola TVC, ‘The Happiest Thank You’.
As a force of habit, I usually prepare myself to click on the Skip Ad to avoid seeing the entire commercial and just go directly to the video I want to watch. But probably, there’s really something in a Coca-Cola commercial that will prevent you from skipping it.
And so, I watched it. I watched the entire commercial and listen to everything they said. After the video, my eyes are already in tears. They should’ve put a warning at the start of the video to get a hanky or a tissue before watching it.
Thank You, Coca-Cola centers on the value of gratitude on how thank you can be two meaningful words to others and cause a big impact to their lives.
The TVC follows the ordinary routine of 4 individuals; a bagger, security guard, driver and parking personnel. And their story were briefly discussed by those who meet them on a regular basis and usually recipients of their gratitude.
We’re pretty sure some of you can relate. In our daily routine of either going to school or work, we have someone that we meet on a regular basis. We sometimes exchange smiles, a hi or hello or just a simple nod. But we really don’t know their name. Or should I say, we don’t bother to ask for their name.
And that’s where their latest campaign “Share A Coke” comes in. Saying thank you to a person which includes their name can make a difference. It makes it more personal. And seeing their smiles is truly heartwarming.
Watch the video below and see how Coca-Cola made the ordinary day of the 4 individuals extra special with Share A Coke.
