WALANG PASOK: Monday Classes Suspended In Parts of NCR, Luzon Due To ‘Typhoon Luis’

As of 5 pm Sunday, typhoon ‘Luis‘(Kalmaegi) has made landfall in the Isabela-Cagayan border according to PAGASA. The typhoon is carrying maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 160 km/h. It is moving west northwest at a speed of 22 km/h.

The state weather bureau further said that strong to gale-force winds are expected to affect the western seaboard of Central Luzon and the seaboards of Southern Luzon and Visayas.

Some local governments have already announced suspension of classes. (via DepEd Official Twitter account)
