VIDEO: Ex-Rivermaya Vocalist Jason Fernandez Joins Team Apl on The Voice PH

Coach Apl.de.Ap. pushed the red button just in the nick of time for former Rivermaya frontman Jason Fernandez during his Blind Auditions on The Voice of the Philippines.

The 25-year-old rocker started his musical career with Rivermaya, whose original vocalist, Bamboo Mañalac, is now a coach on “The Voice.”

The young artist from Sta. Rosa Laguna performed his rendition of Eraserheads classic OPM hit, “Ang Hulling El Bimbo”.

Voach Apl turned his chair for Fernandez  in the near-end of his performance and said: “Sometimes you don’t have to do something extravagant to impress someone. Kasi I felt your voice, I felt your emotions and it gave me lot of ideas.”

What do you think?
