Vic Sotto, Jose Manalo Become Victim Of Internet Crime

After being killed by an internet death hoax, Vic Sotto has once again become a victim of the newest Facebook scam.

This time it involves comedian Jose Manalo and his girlfriend Pauleen Luna, both his co-hosts in GMA 7’s noontime show, ‘Eat Bulaga’.

The link which is getting viral on Facebook says that Vic Sotto cursed Jose Manalo after using Pauleen Luna as a subject of his joke. It then encourages Facebook users to click on the link to watch the video of the incident. It even used the logo of a Pinoy entertainment blog, Pinoy Parazzi to make the link more reliable.

However, if you click on the link, it will just redirect users to click on another Facebook page and will require to share it before watching the video. Sharing the video will automatically tag and spam your social network and give a scam a viral life. And after spending your time liking and sharing it, you still would not be able to watch any video.

Anyone who ‘liked’ or shared the link is encouraged to unlike and delete it from your timeline so no one else gets victimized. You can also report the link to Facebook to prevent it from spreading.  Might as well update your security passwords to make sure that your Facebook account is safe.
