A dog saved the life of a sleeping boy with diabetes after his blood sugar started to plummet.
Luke Nuttall, seven, was diagnosed with Type-1 Diabetes when he was two years old. His mother, Dorrie, checks his blood sugar up to ten times a day, including during the night.
To help her, the family brought in diabetic alert dog Jedi, who monitors Luke’s blood sugar by smell and tells the family if it rises too high or falls too low.
