The Voice Top 10 Performance, Matt McAndrew Sings “Fix You”

The Voice Top 10 Performance, Matt McAndrew Sings “Fix You”

Matt McAndrew goes all out on his take on Coldplay’s “Fix You.”

Matt is engaging, both with his vocals and stage presence. Matt pulled it off by sticking with the high notes/falsetto and then stair step dropping them. He couldn’t deviate much from the original; nonetheless it was a good vocal.

The sound of (Matt’s hybrid) his vocal when he sings his soft and airy notes, especially at the end of a lyric is beautiful. He’s been consistent and I would like to hear a solid ballad from him (like Yellow). Matt, Damien and Craig have been giving solid performances and tonight’s were outstanding. As a matter of fact, there were other singers that exceeded my expectations.
