Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ Beats Nicki Minaj’s ‘Anaconda’ Vevo Record

Taylor Swift took to Twitter to express her gratitude to all the Swifties after the music video for her latest track ‘Bad Blood” broke the Vevo record for most views in a single day.

In just under 24 hours, the action packed video which boasts a lot of pyrotechnics and CGI and celebrity cameos including Selena Gomez, Cindy Crawford, Ellen Pompeo, Hayley Williams and Mariska Hargitay among others, reportedly reached up to 20.1 million views defeating previous record holder Nicki Minaj’s with 19.6 million views for her music video ‘Anaconda’.

Swift also thanked her director Joseph Kahn and friends who each played powerful characters in the video.

Previous Vevo record holders include Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” (19.3 million), One Direction’s “Best Song Ever” (12.3 million), Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” (10.7 million) and Justin Bieber’s “Beauty and the Beat” (10.6 million).
