Denny Miller, who played Tarzan, the Ape Man has died. He was 80.
He passed away on Tuesday, after suffering from ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease, his agent told The Hollywood Reporter.
Miller starred as Edgar Rice Burroughs’ lord of the jungle in the Tarzan, the Ape Man (1959), a remake of the 1932 classic that starred Olympic gold medalist Johnny Weissmuller.
He later starred as Duke Shannon in the classic television series Wagon Train from 1961 to 1964.
