Super Junior and Girls Generation and up-and-coming Korean band of 4 Red Velvet will have a Manila concert on April 12.
Dubbed as “Best of Best in Manila,” the concert will be held on April 12 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan – the world’s largest indoor arena with a maximum capacity of 55,000 people.
Tickets to the show will be available in stores and online starting March 6 through TicketWorld and SM Tickets, priced at P9,500 for VIP, P8,000 for Lower Box A, P6,500 for Lower Box B, P4,000 for Upper Box A, P2,500 for Upper Box B, and P950 for General Admission. Booking fees are not included.
The organizers said shuttle service to and from the Philippine arena will be provided with minimal charge.
Super Junior and Girls Generation are huge names in the industry, and are two groups popularized by the Korean (“hallyu”) wave, or the incorporation of Korean trends in entertainment and culture around the world.
Super Junior, the 12-member group which debuted in 2005 rose to fame with their hits “Sorry, Sorry,” “Mr. Simple,” and “Mamacita.” They had their last concert in Manila 2 years ago.
The 8-member girl group Girls Generation started in 2007 and became famous with their hits “Gee, Genie, I Got a Boy,” and “Mr. Mr.” Their trademark upbeat and catchy songs, unforgettable dance moves and lively personality gave them international fame. They were in the country back in January 2013 as part of the “Dream K-Pop Fantasy Concert 3.”
Red Velvet, who will have their first concert in the Philippines, debuted in 2014. Their singles include “Happiness” and “Be Natural.”
