Star Wars: The Force Awakens is returning to regular Philippine cinemas from January 8, Friday, after getting the shower of universal praise.
The film has grabbed the nomination of Best Picture at America’s Broadcast Film Critics Association.
The seventh film in the Star Wars saga was originally released in mid-December. In just 19 days after hitting the worldwide theaters the movie blew past the domestic grosses of Jurassic World as well as Titanic. It has also become the second-highest earner of all time.
Very recently Disney announced the move has become their highest grossing film of all time in the domestic box office. Earlier, the highest was Marvel superhero film The Avengers.
