Dr. Persida V. Rueda-Acosta is the Chief Public Attorney of the Philippines (since 2001). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) from the University of the East in 1982 and obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the same university in 1987.
