Ford Philippines announced today its February retail sales which increased 24% from a year ago to 1,860 vehicles driven by the Ranger, Everest, and the EcoSport.
As of today, Ford sales has gone up to 14% to 4,597 vehicles.
Although the company feels the impact of the new auto excise taxes, they remain positive in line with the country’s good economic forecasts, Bertrand Lessard said, Managing Director of Ford Philippines.
Leading in the February performance in terms of sales increasing up to 125% year over year (YoY) to 886 vehicles is the segment defining Ranger Year-to-date Ranger sales have increased to 41% to 1,566 vehicles.
The Everest mid-size SUV made a total sales of 415 vehicles, making its year-to-date total up 13% to 1,409 vehicles. The Everest sustains to have strong appeal among Filipino families as one of the smartest and safest vehicles in its segment.
Meanwhile, the EcoSport compact-SUV completed with February sales of 477 vehicles, making its year-to-date sales to 1,339 vehicles. The EcoSport has continued to attract the young urban market with its features and capabilities perfect for city driving.
