Celebrity comedienne Pokwang and Eat Bulaga host Paolo Ballesteros joined hands together in putting up a community pantry for their neighbors in Antipolo.
Despite the possibility of being red tagged and the mishap in Angel Locsin’s community pantry, the two celebrities along with PJ Dela Fuente, Mykel Sevilla and other friends organized their own version of modern “bayanihan.’ They called it “Pantry Sisters” inspired by Paolo’s 2019 movie “The Panti Sisters.”
Pokwang shared the news of their good deed via Instagram on April 23, and noted that it went well.
The community pantry, which sprouted all over Metro Manila and in some other parts of the country, were all inspired by the first one set up by Ana Patricia Non on Maginhawa Street in Teachers Village, Quezon City.
