My Husband’s Lover’s Soundtrack Wins Song Of The Year At Star Awards

Dubbed as the most controversial series on TV, GMA’s My Husband’s Lover gets a nod from the 6th PMPC Star Awards for Music after their  official theme song wins Song of the Year award.

Written by Tata Betita, “Help Me Get Over You” sung by Kapuso singer Jonalyn Viray became a big hit during the airing of ‘My Husband’s Lover who starred Dennis Trillo, Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez.

Aside from Jonalyn Viray, other Kapuso artists also took home several awards. Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez won Album Cover of the Year Award for the song “Hulog Ka Ng Langit.” Kris Lawrence won R&B Artist of the Year and R&B Album of the year while Ryzza Mae Dizon, Wally Bayola and Jose Manalo bagged the Novelty Song of the Year for “Cha Cha Dabarkads”.
