Alden Richards, Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza and Wally Bayola received their first Church-based social media award from the Catholic Social Media Awards on Sunday, October 11 at the 4th Catholic Social Media Summit (CSMSv4) in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Mendoza was given Catholic Social Media Achievement Award for being influential in propagating Christian values to the youth and Richards for being a good youth role model through their roles in Eat Bulaga’s segment ‘kalyeserye’.

Bayola, who plays the role of Lola Nidora in the kalyeserye, was also given special recognition for being instrumental in spreading good values in media.

TAPE Inc., also receives Achievement Award for producing KalyeSerye and giving importance to promoting Christian family values and virtues while AlDubNation Team wins Achievement Award for spreading KalyeSerye values online through inspirational posts and tweets which also trends both nationwide and worldwide everyday.

Mendoza, who attended the event with Bayola, thanked their supporters using her own voice drawing loud screams and cheers from her fans. “Siyempre nagulat..sa simbahan e. Eto na ata ang pinakamataas na makukuha ng Kalyeserye,” said Mendoza in a tweet shared by @cbcpnews.
