LOOK: The Four Most Damaging Types Of Training

Lately training has received a lot of criticism because of the increased use of performance enhancing drugs and the debilitation caused to those who take part in such training. In reality all forms of workouts might lead to some form of injury at some point. There are four types of training that have been found to be the most physical pain inflicting exercising methods:

  • Body building – bodybuilders use active muscle isolation, which leads to more muscular adhesion and formation of scar tissue.

  • Powerlifting – injuries relating to extreme volumes are common.

  • Cross fit – injuries are common for CrossFitters, especially shoulder injuries.

  • Running – this is surprisingly the most popular and draining type of exercise. In fact some 80% of runners end up in pain after engaging in running.
