Pope Francis has used a jeepney-inspired popemobile en route to Luneta in Manila on Sunday.
The Filipino-style pope mobile—a white jeep fashioned into Pope Francis’ open motorcade vehicle—finally reigned supreme as a true King of the Road does on Manila’s streets as it took the Supreme Pontiff from his residence at the Apostolic Nunciature to the Quirino Grandstand.

The jeepney-inspired popemobile is one of three popemobiles used by the Pope for his visit to the Philippines. One popemobile was made in Korea and was used during the Pope’s trip to Tacloban and Palo, Leyte on Saturday.

The second popemobile, which was made locally, has been used several times by the Pope in Manila.
