LOOK: Alden Richards Debut Album Lands in Top 10 World Billboard Music Chart

With the phenomenal success of his loveteam with Maine ‘Yaya Dub’ Mendoza, numerous product endorsements, provincial tours and top-rating shows, Pambansang Bae Alden Richards is definitely on a roll.

Now, Alden Richards has invaded the international music scene as his self-titled album debuted No. 10 in the Worldwide Music Chart of Billboard Magazine in the US, ranked by sales data as compiled by Nielsen Music.

The certified gold album released in 2013 under Universal Records made Richards the third Filipino singer and the first Filipino male artist to make it in the Billboard chart.

Jaya was the the first Filipino to make it to the Billboard chart to No. 44 of the US Dance Charts on February 3, 1990 with her song “If You Leave me Now”. In 2010, Charice debuted in the Hot 100 chart with her single “Pyramid”.

Alden is set to release his second album under GMA Records this October with his single “Wish I May”.
