CHINA- A GROUP of unidentified people armed with knives attacked employees and customers of a supermarket in a wild stabbing spree about 3pm on November 27 in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China News Service reported.
According to media reports, the man, identified as Zhou, is understood to have had an argument with employees at supermarket in the Chinese city of Nanning before the attack. Witnesses say he returned to the supermarket claiming the cashier had failed to hand over noodles he had purchased hours earlier.
Surveilance camera footage shows him produce a small knife and stabbing at a male cashier, lashing him repeatedly in the neck and torso.
He then chased the injured man, stabbing another five employees, two shoppers and a salesperson along the way.
Nine people were wounded in the attack.
Zhou was arrested at the scene. A police investigation is under way.
