Actress Karla Estrada took to Twitter to defend her son Daniel Padilla against people who wants to destroy her son’s career.
Over the weekend, an audio clip which supposedly involved Padilla has gone viral.
In the audio clip, a guy, who is allegedly Padilla talked about getting a text message from a girl that seemed to thrill him.
Some netizens speculated that the girl referred to is actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith who works with Padilla in the upcoming movie, “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo” and the “Sam” the voice mentioned is Sam Concepcion, Curtis-Smith’s boyfriend.
On his Twitter account, the Teen King expressed his gratitude to all his fans who continues to support him amidst controversies.
Karla also thanked her son’s supporters in one of her tweets.
“Wow mga anak grabe!bilib ako sa support at love nyo!thank you sa inyong lahat! I love you guys! Wag hayaan magtagumpay ang salot sa lipunan!”
In an interview with “The Buzz,” Padilla dismissed the controversy and even challenged his detractors to come up with something better. “Gusto ko lang sabihin na ituloy niyo lang iyan. Galingan niyo,” Padilla said.
