Jasmine Curtis-Smith was recently involved in controversies over an “audio scandal” dragging her name, but she continues to embrace a positive attitude during the premiere night of her latest independent film “Dementia.”
“It was really a great opportunity to make a film with her,” she said. “I think kapag ang mga kasama mong artista ay magagaling at magaling mag-influence, hindi ka na kailangan turuan. Nahahawa ka na. Hopefully nahawaan ako ng galing ni Ate Guy.”
When asked if she expects to win another award for the movie, Curtis-Smith responded:
“It was enough that our film was graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board. That alone is a great recognition.”
Curtis-Smith’s performance in her first independent film “Transit” was outstanding which earned her the best supporting actress award at last year’s Cinemalaya Film Festival.
Dementia” is currently showing in all theaters nationwide.
