Filipino American boy Lance “Altair” Aguelo from San Diego, California got three-chair turn in the second season of “The Voice Kids Philippines.”
Aguelo performed Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.”
It obviously wowed all three judges — Lea Salonga, Bamboo Mañalac, and Sarah Geronimo.
“I like your style. I seriously like your taste. Ang ganda ng mga bali mo. I’m very scared of this song kasi ang dami niyang kulot, pero ‘yung puso kailangan lumabas pa rin, and you gave us that,” Salonga told Aguelo.
“You have something very natural, you are a very soulful singer,” added Mañalac.
Aguelo eventually chose to be part Mañalac’s Kamp Kawayan, joining Chloe Mercado and Romeo Espino. It was the rock star’s only recruit of the night.
