EXCLUSIVE: Jerome Ponce Grateful To Team Up With Jane Oineza

MANILA – After working with the long-running ”Be Careful With My Heart” series, teen actor Jerome Ponce is set to be paired with Jane Oineza in the upcoming television soap ”Nasan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita.”

In a media interview with Push, the 19-year-old actor admitted that he is grateful for the opportunity to star in another series following his two-year commitment with “Be Careful,” which was top-billed by Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap.

He said: “Nag-workshop na kami ito ‘yung Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita. Kasama ko siJane, si Ms. Vina Morales at siDenise Laurel. Ayon nag-workshop na kami ni Jane, okay naman medyo minamadali kasiconflict ‘yung schedules minsan,”

Asked about what it feels like to be working with Oineza, Ponce said: “Para sa akin hindi mahirap. Masaya siya, sobrang saya. Lumalabas kami for bonding. Sobrang saya kasama si Jane tapos katrabaho.”

Ponce also gave a glimpse of what fans can expect from his character in the television series, which will also be played by other Pinoy Big Brother housemates Joshua Garcia and Loisa Andalio.

“More mature siya kasi I’m a player and more concentrated siya as a college student tapos more on concentrated sa mga problems. It’s like ‘yung problemado… unlike sa Be Careful na ‘pag problemado si Luke there’s always this na magpapagaan ng damdamin ni Luke,” he said.

No release date for “Nasan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita” has been released as of writing. Actress Vina Morales and Denise Laurel are some of the big names included in the project.
