Dan Brown‘s best-selling novel “Digital Fortress” is being turned into a television series and has landed at ABC with a put pilot commitment.
‘Digital Fortress’ is written by Josh Goldin and Rachel Abramowitz (Outlaw Country). It is an international thriller set in the world of the NSA during a global threat. According to Deadline, it’s described as a sexy cat-and-mouse game between a Snowden-esque character who is threatening to release all of the government’s secrets to the highest bidder and a female cryptographer and her elite team who are tasked to stop him. Teeming with double-crosses in matters of both national security and the heart, ultimately Digital Fortress begs the very real question: Who guards the guards?
Dan Brown is the author of such books as “The Da Vinci Code” and “Angels & Demons”. His last book ‘Inferno‘ is also set to hit the big screen with its film adaptation where Tom Hanks is also set to reprise his role as Robert Langdon. The tentative release date is set on December 18, 2015 under Sony Pictures and Imagine Entertainment.
