Bench Issues Apology On Coco Martin’s ‘Naked Truth’ Act

Bench has issued an official statement on the Naked Truth Denim and Underwear Fashion Show following the negative reactions of netizens on some ‘offensive elements’ of the show, specifically on Coco Martin’s act.

Photos are circulating online tagging Bench Lifestyle and clothing that fashion show Naked Truth may have crossed the line with a woman on a leash, positioned on fours like a dog as Coco Martin in his fully clothed glory walked and marched on the stage.

The women’s rights group Gabriela condemned the act in the fashion show with Gabriela’s Liza Maza describing the act as “degrading and dehumanizing portrayal of women” which Bench should apologize for.

Other performances also involved two women locking lips while actors Dennis Trillo and Tom Rodriguez gladly watched and a semi-naked stint by Jake Cuenca.
