Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo and Kapuso actor Alden Richards are set to hit the big screen with their first movie together, “Pure Soul“.
Viva Films, GMA Pictures, and APT Entertainment – sealed their partnership to co-produce the Philippine adaptation of the Japanese drama “Pure Soul,” from which the hit Korean movie “A Moment to Remember” was also adapted.
The movie follows a young couple whose relationship gets put to the test when the woman is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease. The Korean version starred ‘Crash Landing on You’ actress Son Ye-jin and ‘The King’ star Jung Woo-sung.
In an interview during their contract signing, the two revealed that they agreed not to watch the foreign versions of the film to show their own take on the role. This is the first time for both Alden and Bea to star in a movie adaptation.
