Allen Iverson vs Tim Cone in ‘All In’ Charity Basketball Game

Tim Cone, the Philippine Basketball Association’s only two-time coach able to win grandslam championships with two different squads, will face former 11-time NBA All-Star Allen Iverson in a basketball charity game.

Presented by PCWorx, “All In” will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on November 5 at 7pm. This will be for the benefit of Gawad Kalinga.

Cone’s team are made up of UAAP and NCAA stars led by UAAP rivals Jeron Teng and Kiefer Ravena. Joining Ravena and Teng are Jeth Troy Rosario from newly-crowned UAAP champion National University, Mac Belo of FEU, Thirdy Ravena, Almond Vosotros, Javee Mocon and Ola Adeogun of NCAA five-peat champion San Beda, and San Sebastian’s Jaymar Perez. They will be reinforced by former NBA stars Eddy Curry and DerMarr Johnson

Meanwhile, Iverson’s team are made up of the Ball Up Streetball All-Stars — Grayson “The Professor” Boucher, Larry “Bone Collector” Williams, Taurian “Air Up There” Fontanette, Gary “G-Smith” Smith, Aaron “AO” Owens, Anthony “Mr. Afrika” Pimble and Ryan “Special FX” Williams. Also joining them are former PBA stars Jerry Codinera, Willie Miller, and Renren Ritualo.

Before the charity game, Iverson and Cone will hold a youth basketball clinic for those aged 10-15 at the Gawad Kalinga Bulaklakan Chapter in Brgy. Holy Spirit in Quezon City on November 4 for a fee of P2,500.
