Lionsgate has released the official trailer of the upcoming goofy comedy film, “Mortdecai“.
Johnny Depp leads the cast as he plays Charlie Mortdecai, an art dealer who wants to find a stolen painting rumored to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold.
Here’s the official synopsis:
Juggling some angry Russians, the British MI5, his impossibly leggy wife and an international terrorist, debonair art dealer and part time rogue Charlie Mortdecai (Depp) must traverse the globe armed only with his good looks and special charm in a race to recover a stolen painting rumored to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold.
Joining Depp in the cast are Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul Bettany, Oliver Platt, Aubrey Plaza, Ewan McGregor, Paul Bettany, and Olivia Munn.
Mortdecai is directed by David Koepp from a script by Eric Aronson, which in turn was based on the trilogy of books by Kyril Bonfiglioli published in the ’70s.
“Mortdecai” is to hit cinemas on February 6, 2015
