WATCH: Daniel Padilla Sings ‘Pangako Sa ‘Yo’ Theme

Star Music has released Daniel Padilla’s version of “Pangako Sa ‘Yo,” the theme song of the phenomenal ABS-CBN series that will be remade next year with the teen star and his love team partner Kathryn Bernardo.

The music video includes a scene that was first shown in the “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” teaser trailer released early this month and also shows Padilla looking through several photos of him and Bernardo.

Although Padilla recorded the song, it was earlier reported that the version of singer Vina Morales will still be used for the “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” remake.

The song “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” was written by Rey Valera and was also recorded by Sharon Cuneta for a 1991 album featuring her renditions of the composer’s hits.

The video uploaded on December 24 has already reached more than 30,000 views as of this writing.
