Vice Ganda is still mourning as his grandfather passed away on Christmas Day after more than a week under intensive care, according to the comedian. He was 93.
ABS-CBN revealed, Gonzalo Dacumos had been struggling with health issues, suffering from renal and respiratory failure, among other complications due to old age, Vice Ganda said in a December 21 interview on “The Buzz.”
Dacumos’ remains were brought to The Ascension Chapels in Quezon City.

Vice Ganda, who grew up under his grandfather’s care, announced Dacumos’ death on Twitter Thursday night, saying, “He’s gone… He made sure I was number one before he left.”
Meanwhile, “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” one of the eight Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entries has been dominating theaters since the opening day which premiered on Christmas day.
