“Labels are for cans, not for people.”
This is what says on the limited-edition of no-label cans of Coca-Cola in the Middle East to encourage people not to judge one another based on their appearance.
The no-label cans campaign led by Dubai-based agency FP7/DXB will run throughout Ramadan to raise and promote awareness for worldwide prejudice and stereotypes.
A video was also uploaded on YouTube to promote the campaign and send the powerful message to everyone. It says, “It takes just seven seconds to build a prejudice based on someone’s appearance”.
The video shows a group of men who have been invited to a dinner party and are asked to guess each other’s appearances in a dark room. They describe the person after each one of them talks about what they do and what they love doing. When the lights were switched on, they were all surprised with what they discovered.
