“Explosive, messy, brutal and thrilling”.

The Walking Dead is returning in OctoberThis is how the casts and writers describe The Walking Dead Season 5.

The hit series is still months away, but here are some of what we can expect from Season 5.

The 16-episode season is expected to debut this October with two sub seasons of eight episodes each. On the second half of Season 4, Rick and his group were separated after their escape from the prison, although everyone is heading toward Terminus, the advertised haven at the end of the train tracks. The running theory is that Terminus is home to the cannibals from the comics, though this was not officially confirmed when Season 4 ended. Things weren’t looking so good when Season 4 left off with Rick and some of his people ( Michonne, Carl, Daryl, Glenn, Maggie, Sasha, Bob, Tara, Eugene, Abraham and Rosita) were imprisoned inside a train car by the Terminus folk. This would surely heighten the action when the show returns.

Rumors also say that Glenn Rhee will die in the next season and Maggie will be pregnant. There were also hints of major characters turning into zombies. And Carl losing an eye. Season 5 will also reveal what has happened to Beth, Carol and Tyreese.

Looks like Rick Grimes and his friends will have a pretty fast-paced, intense season. And just as what is seen in the poster, they would need to do everything to SURVIVE.

Will they make it out of Terminus?
