Ellowe Alviso was an attractive young man. Even in his teenage years, he participated in talent competitions. But he wanted to further enhance his appearance, and figured surgery was the way to go.
Specifically, he desired an aquiline nose and a cleft chin. He sought the help of a nurse who had some knowledge of collagen injections.
Not surprisingly, two years later, Ellowe’s face began to swell. His nose and chin, swollen from infection, gave his face the appearance of expanding. The collagen injected was impure.
