McDonald’s is running a promotion wherein customers will be randomly selected to pay with their meal by doing something kind or silly in lieu of shelling out cash.
Rates for Super Bowl XLIX commercials hit an all-time high at $4.5 million for a 30-second spot, but that didn’t stop McDonald’s from running a 60-second ad promoting their new form of payment — lovin’.
McDonald’s has always asked for a customer’s heart in exchange for their food. From now until February 14, they’ll be asking random customers for payment up front with a “lovin’” act. The random acts range from silly dances and high-fives to calling family members and group hugs.
