Sunburned kids hospitalized after daycare forgets sunscreen

A mother in Oklahoma filed a police report against a daycare center after they took the children to the splash pad and did not bring any sunscreen to apply on the kids.

The mother said that the weather reports had indexed the day at 118 degrees Fahrenheit. When she went to pick her children at 5 p.m. and found them sun burnt she was terrified.

To make things worse, upon seeing their condition, the employees made fun of the children and called the elder one a baby for crying. The children were found to have third and second degree burns respectively.

The departments of homeland security and Vinita police have launched an investigation to find out if it was a case of neglect or child abuse.
