Zayn Malik will not be performing with his One Direction bandmates Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson for their concert in Manila on March 21 and 22.
Simon Jones of PR firm Hackford Jones and a publicist for the band, made the announcement on Twitter on Thursday, March 19, saying that Zayn flew back to the UK to recover from stress:

“Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate.
“The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta.”
Malik’s departure comes just one day after he slammed rumors that he’s cheating on his fiancee Perrie Edwards of the band Little Mix, after a photo of Malik hanging out with a mystery girl in Thailand surfaced online.
On his Twitter account, Malik posted: “I’m 22 years old…I love a girl named Perrie Edwards,” he tweeted on Wednesday. “And there’s a lot of jealous f—ks in this world. I’m sorry for what it looks like x.”
One Direction also recently paid the ‘marijuana bond’ the Bureau of Immigration required on Thursday, March 19. Malik and Louis Tomlinson appeared in a video, which circulated online last year, in which they appeared to smoke cannabis and joke about drug use.
